How do you represent what we do here on a single scrolling home page of text and images?
How do I capture the essence of what we are and do when you can’t smell it, taste it, feel the gentle breeze, the nettle sting,
You need to talk to corporates in their language they tell me.
You need to be scientifically serious in tone and language.
You need to be careful not too offend.
Not to scare people. Not to worry people.
You need to be positive not negative.
You can’t be that honest.
You need to filter that. Edit that.
Then it hit me like a bolt as I sit on the toilet (yeah no filter – I do my best thinking there) one sunny Sunday morning in May watching the shadows of the willow trees just outside the window dance wild and unashamedly on the adjacent wall…
No I need to be me.
For I am The Bee Guy and the project that is World Bee Sanctuary formed in my head.
So it’s in my language.
It’s real.
No filters.
No regrets.
I’d rather that than no bees.
Don’t like talking about myself but if you want to know more you’ll find it here

Never use chemicals/poisons, source untreated/organic seed and plants, stop tidying up nature, weeds aren’t weeds they’re vital and go native
Your diet impacts bees. Habitat loss and degradation has been the main driver of bee extinction. Go Vegan for the Bees. Bee a ‘Beegan’’
Saving native wild bees means we all need to be better but will mean a better planet and a brighter future
Inform yourself, educate yourself and get interested in the problems, the true causes and the real solutions
Bees and nature are in decline primarily due to our food production systems across the planet.
Yes what we choose to eat and how we choose to produce it is having dire consequences for nature.
There is nowhere left for bees to exist as the countryside has been degraded to a chemically poisoned desert of grass and indeed crops to produce animal feed. This is the crisis. This is not sustainable.
So if you love bees consider your diet. A change in what you consume away from meat and dairy would have a huge impact for bees and the planet.
So how about it?
Vegan for the Bees.
We’ve coined a term for it.
