World Bee Sanctuary is the natural progression of the planet’s first Native Wild Bee sanctuary, The Bee Sanctuary of Ireland, in response to the global reaction to, and love for, the vital work we do to highlight the plight of endangered Native Wild Bees.
We’re going to replicate what we have developed here in Ireland over the past 13 years wherever people want it throughout the globe.

We’re an ordinary family, that bought an ordinary farm down an ornery lane to disappear and live a quiet life…but what we came across down that lane led to an extraordinary idea and ultimately to the extraordinary mission that is World Bee Sanctuary.
I’m Paul but you can call me The Bee Guy and my partner in crime is Clare-Louise. We’re the Bonnie and Clyde of native wild bee conservation.

Trust is paramount to our mission.
There’s a quote from the Australian children’s animation series ‘Bluey’ that resonates with us:
“If there’s no trust none of this is possible…” Chilli Heeler explains to her daughters whist referring to the functioning of society and the ecosystem all around them. And how true.
So we stand for trust in what we have found to be an often untrustworthy space.
To save our native wild bees we’re going to have to trust one another.
Trust one another:
To tell the truth.
To tell the hard truths.
To do the right things.
To show up consistently.
To be the better versions of ourselves.
To persevere.

We tell compelling stories. Capture beautiful imagery.
We naturally combine our creative capabilities with the often untold science to inspire and educate and we are comfortable and adept at doing this both on the ground, locally, in person, and on-line digitally across the globe.
